If your full bath is “unique,” it may have recycled fixtures, an unusual motif, or other components that give the room character as well as function. Unique full bathrooms utilize colors, textures, and unusual components such as gravity toilets or incineration toilets. You’ve planned these unique elements into your new full bath. Here’s how to implement them: * Make sure that you have all components, especially unique ones, on hand before you begin preparing the room for remodeling. * Know that functioning components that are unique (tub, toilet, lavatory) may require a special review by the building department before it is allowed to be installed in your new bathroom. * If you or someone is painting a mural in your unique full bathroom, consider having it done once the old components are out and before the new ones are installed. * Remember that tiles require a filler between them, called grout, and the grout subsequently will need a sealer to keep moisture from penetrating. * Consider taking photos of your unique bathroom remodeling project for your scrapbook.
