Plumbing a Full Bath

Plumbing a full bath is a little more complex than plumbing a half bath because you are adding a major component: a bathtub or shower. However, think of the tub or shower as a big sink and you’ll have the concept. The tub or shower has hot and cold water delivered and waste water drained away. Faucets control the flow and mixture of the water.

The most difficult part of installing a new bathtub or shower may be getting it in place. As they are bulky, your choices will be limited to units that you can get into the room. Fortunately, the market for remodeling is big enough that many manufacturers offer models that can come in the door. Make sure you know the unit’s measurements (including shipping carton) before buying it.
