Full bathrooms typically have larger cabinets than half baths. In fact, if wall space is available your full bath can have additional full-height storage cabinets that serve as a mini-closet. Most bathroom floor cabinets are 29 in. high (excluding the top), 21 in. deep, and 30 to 42 inches wide. Extended bathrooms often include wider cabinets for two sinks. Make sure that the cabinets you select will fit through the bathroom door and be able to be turned into position. An alternative is to buy narrower cabinet components, such as two 30 in. cabinets, designed to be fastened together. Accessories for a full bath are similar to those for a half bath; there are just more of them. In fact, a full bath may have sufficient wall space for drying bars so that multiple towels can be hung at once. There are coordinated groups of accessories available at bathroom shops that can add luxury to your remodel project.
