Installing a special shower is similar to a standard shower. The primary difference is in the shower heads and controls. Waterfall showers will require special heads built in or on the wall. Shower bars typically don’t require special construction of the shower stall. The best advice is to follow the manufacturer’s instructions for installation of special shower components, or hire an experience plumber to do the job. If you’re a do-it-yourselfer, consider hiring a plumber to oversee your work including building and preparing the stall.
