You’ll need a variety of tools for various wall and floor remodeling jobs. Here’s a basic list: * A good quality 8- or 16-ounce curved-claw hammer * A set of screwdrivers or a combination screwdriver with assorted tips (standard and Phillips) * An adjustable wrench (6, 8, or 10 inches long), OR a set of wrenches (open- and closed-end) with standard (inches) and metric (millimeter) sizes * Hand or power drill with assorted bits * Measuring tape * Hand, hack, or power saw for cutting wood, plastic, or metal (depending on the blade used) * Paint brushes or paint pads * Paint roller (frame and cover) and tray * Plumb line and bob for installing walls * Floor installation tools depending on the type of flooring material.
