There’s more room to maneuver—and to remodel—in full bathrooms. They include a lavatory, toilet, and tub and/or shower. (Some purists call bathrooms with a shower and not a tub a three-quarter bath.) So here are some typical full bath makeover projects. * Replace an old, worn bathtub with a new designer model * Replace an old tub with one that is modern but looks like an even older tub (such as a claw-foot tub) * Replace a bathtub with a shower enclosure * Replace a bathtub with a tub-shower enclosure * Modify the bathroom into a garden bath with a plant area, skylight, and maybe a waterfall * Add a short or full wall to between the toilet and lavatory * Add a window or even a door for view or access to an attached garden As you look at full bathroom ideas in this website, in magazines, and in others’ homes you’ll see even more ideas.
