| Foundation Contractor |

The foundation contractor is responsible for preparing the site for and installing the foundation by the approved building plans. The foundation contractor may work with the grading contractor to dig for footings, or may have his own crew do it. The foundation contractor will install forms, install reinforcement bar, work with plumbers or other contractors who need to bury their utilities in the concrete, and get everything for the concrete. The foundation contractor may hire a concrete contractor to pour and finish the concrete, or he may have his crew do it.
