The electrical contractor starts at the electrical service panel, installing new wiring as needed for electricity to be delivered to the remodeled bathroom. From the panel, wires are run throughout the house through framed walls, floors, and ceilings. If the walls are closed, the electrician may opt to run wiring under the house or through an attic to reach the bathroom. Finally, the electrical contractor returns when the walls are closed and installs outlets, switches, and cover plates. This occurs once the insulation and drywall are installed over the wall framing.
