A full bathroom, introduced elsewhere on this website, is one that includes a toilet, lavatory or sink, and a bathtub or shower. Full baths typically are 50 to 100 sq. ft. in size, though they can be larger or even smaller. Because of their size, about twice that of a half bath, they are good candidates for room additions with an extended foundation. Of course, if you can find a way of adding on a full bath without the cost of extending the foundation you are time and money ahead.
