An extended bathroom is one of at least 100 sq. ft. that includes fixtures beyond the basics. Besides a toilet, lavatory, and tub or shower, it may have a spa, hot tub, sauna, steam room, special shower, larger fixtures, a dressing or powder room, a garden area or fountain, or other components that make the room for relaxing and longer visits.
