| Installing Insulation |

Insulation should be placed on all outside walls and in the floor joists of your basement. You can also install insulation as a soundproofing material in interior walls. How is it installed? * Install flexible blanket or batt insulation between wall studs and staple in place. * Install flexible blanket or batt insulation between floor joists and support with slats, wire, staples, or held in place by friction and the ceiling. * Install a vapor barrier on exterior walls. * Install rigid insulation inside exterior walls with adhesive.
