Remodeling Tips Single-unit tubs and showers are so large that you may not be able to get them into rooms once the walls and doors are done. Set them near their final destination during the framing process. Garbage disposals are installed similar to a sink drain except that there is a power cord. If a dishwasher is nearby, it will feed debris to the garbage disposal through a drain line.
